Hello everyone, wassup?? Its been a long time since I write something here due to a few reason why I am not online but now I’m back!!
I wanna write something about my
last relationship eh I mean my last trip to Jogja. back then in 2012 i went to
Jogja for annual program in my second year in vocational high school that was
study tour. I left on Friday morning
with a bus ride and arrived at Jogja when midnight. During the journey to Jogja
I stopped at tourist spots named Batu Raden. But because when I got there was
almost dusk end then I just took a
picture in a few places. Batu Raden is located far from the main highway so
when on the way I often wonder when to arrive there.
Day 1
The first day in Jogja I woke up
around 6 am. With a sleepy eyes I showered and breakfast in the hotel
restaurant. The breakfast menu is very diverse from Indonesia to foreign food.
But because I am still sleepy I just ate fried rice and a glass of milk.
Once satisfied to see a silver crafts
and stomachs have been filled making my energy that had dropped to climb back.
my next destination is Malioboro market. Surely anyone would know this market
and believe that when visiting Jogjakarta is not complete if you do not shop at
Malioboro. Indeed, the items offered by sellers here cheaper than in Jakarta, I
buy souvenirs such as T-shirts, sandals, bracelets for the family. I get one
shirt at a price of 13 thousand rupiah that was very cheap wow. Linger here,
make sure it turns out was getting late and my money is running low. Finally, I
also left malioboro with feelings of pleasure.
Before to the next destination I
also had dinner at one of the restaurants in the area Prambanan. Yes right, my
next travel destination is the Prambanan temple. You must wonder why I go to
Prambanan at night? Haha I visited Prambanan at night to see the appearance of
dancers represent the Ramayana story. The story tells about the journey of
Rama’s in rescuing his wife Sita that was abducted by the king of Lanka State,
Brahmana. I was fortunate to watch this show because it is not every day show.
The show was held at the open stage and can clearly see the Prambanan temple are
decorated with lights at night. The show began at 19:30 to 21:30 quite a long
time but impressive.
Finally at 22:00 I return from
Prambanan to the hotel and about to rest because tomorrow is my last day in
Jogja and I still have place to visit.
Day 2
The night before I sleep around
12 a.m. and wake up at 6 o'clock, as usual after showering and packing my stuff
to check out from the hotel after spending the breakfast. The first place in my
second day are royal palace of Jogjakarta. Jogja royal palace is a tourist
destination once the residence of the Sultan of Jogjakarta. Very magnificent
palace complex and very rich in shades of each building. Many domestic and
foreign visitors who visit this palace. In every corner of the palace guards
are called "Abdi Dalem". Although they looks serious it turns out the
Abdi Dalem is very friendly towards visitors. Besides, the palace of Jogjakarta
held a different variety every day of a traditional performances. The sun had
risen when I left the palace of Jogjakarta and my last destination is Borobudur
temple.
Before arriving at Borobudur
temple I stopped for eating lunch at one of the restaurants near there. After
recharge my energy, I went straight to the entrance and given a Batik cloth should
be used to enter into the Borobudur temple. I was a bit discouraged to climb to
the top of the temple because at that moment the sun its hottest and I did not
bring an umbrella. Finally I sat in area of temple park under a tree to wait
for the sun go down from the top of the head. After a few long wait I finally
rented an umbrella to go up on top of the Borobudurn temple. Too bad if I do
not rise to the top of the temple because I rarely going here. Even with a bit
tired because of the heat I finally reached the top of Borobudur temple. The
scenery at the top of Borobudur temple is very beautiful, lots of mountains and
fresh air,a reason why I want to linger there.
After about 30 minutes I was at
the top of Borobudur temple, I was going down when it was already late. When it
turned into the parking lot I had to pass through a tent offering a variety of
souvenirs with ornaments of Borobudur temple.
Before return to Jakarta, I had
dinner at a restaurant in the Magelang and buy special food of Jogjakarta is Bakpia.
Finally, at 7:30 I leave Jogjakarta and get ready to meet again with the traffic
of the capital.
So, that is my journey in
Jogjakarta. See you in next journey✈✈✈
